Traveling US Route 4 in NH
Interesting places to see as you are travel through!

Because of its central location between the state's capitol and the seacoast, Route 4 gets significant commuter traffic on weekdays and sometimes oppressive traffic from locals and tourists on weekends. Traffic bottlenecks during peak periods at the traffic circles (round-a-bouts) in Lee and Epsom. Where practical, consider using Route 101 in Manchester during peak periods.

These directions presume you are traveling east from Concord.

Green indicates the travel time from the highway in minutes, and Blue indicates the amount of visit time we recommend you should plan.

Example: (10 - 90) would indicate the attraction is 10 minutes from the highway (including parking) in normal traffic, and plan on spending 90 minutes for a reasonable visit.
